If you are unable to succeed then surely you'll feel out of the burden because atleast you've tried and if you are succeeded then what's the problem?? Now you are a free man.
A tip for friends, try to help your friend when he/she is in stress, share his problem and made him feel relax by making him to laugh, by cracking silly jokes. Make him/her to forget about their problem and to enjoy each and every moment.
